Freedom Songs is an annual event at Whitman College for students to reflect on what freedom means. My design of the Freedom Songs zine was inspired by the 2020 Belarusian protests against the dictatorship, where white and red emerged as motifs of resistance. It pays tribute to the courage and fortitude of communities around the world.
